Annual Reports

State of the Nation: K-12 E-Learning in Canada (2016) is the 9th in a series of annual reports that began in 2008 that examine the status of K-12 e-learning across the country. The 2016 report, available in print on request, provides an overview of the latest policies, practices, and trends affecting distance, online and blended learning programs across all 10 provinces, 3 territories, and under federal jurisdiction.

For an overview of the annual report, please review the “How To Read This Report” page.

Special Reports

The State of the Nation research team is developing policy briefs that will be released in the coming months. These will represent the first State of the Nation research that is released as a document separate from the annual report or the website.
