Annual Reports

State of the Nation: K-12 E-Learning in Canada (2022) is the 15th in a series of annual reports that began in 2008 that examine the status of K-12 e-learning across the country. The 2022 report, available in print on request, provides an overview of the latest policies, practices, and trends affecting distance, online and blended learning programs across all 10 provinces, 3 territories, and under federal jurisdiction.

For an overview of the annual report, please review the “How To Read This Report” page.

Special Reports

In addition to the annual reports, the State of the Nation research team also develop policy briefs.  These reports represent research on topics related to K-12 e-learning in Canada beyond the content contained in the annual reports, and are released as separate documents.
