Desire2Learn (D2L) were actually the first Canadian entity to sponsor the annual State of the Nation: K-12 e-Learning in Canada report when they became a silver sponsor in 2010. Prior to D2L‘s sponsorship, the annual report had been only supported by US-based organizations and companies. The State of the Nation: K-12 e-Learning in Canada research team and pleased to welcome back D2L as a bronze sponsor for the 2019 annual State of the Nation: K-12 e-Learning in Canada report. They are active contributors to the e-learning community through white papers, and also support other Canadian e-learning events.
