The Ministry of Education and Child Care, Online Learning and Education Resources Branch (OLERB) contributes information and data annually to the State of the Nation: K-12 e-Learning in Canada report and provides in-kind supports to the publication. The OLERB is responsible for two program areas: Open School BC and Online Learning. OLERB became the first Canadian publisher of the annual State of the Nation: K-12 e-Learning in Canada reports. The design team at Open School BC created a new Canadian-themed cover for the report that continues to be used. Open School BC develops and delivers e-learning services, digital and print content, and award-winning multimedia for the broader public sector. Open School BC creates courses and other instructional resources for public organizations and provides services to agencies, school districts, boards, and Crown corporations. We are proud to once again have the OLERB as an in-kind sponsor of the 2025 report.
