It struck me as I prepare for my trip tomorrow to the International Society for Technology in Education Conference ISTE19 in Philadelphia, this marks the 20th anniversary of The Learning Company (Kevin O’Leary) acquisition by Mattel. Perhaps we’ll have a small toast to Reader Rabbit. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the CanAm Celebration of Excellence meetup that is fully subscribed with well over 100 attendees!

With the K12 school year drawing to a close, I want to thank teachers, leaders and EdTech industry colleagues for continuing to raise the bar, through hard work, innovation and collaboration as you successfully strive to prepare our leaders of today and tomorrow. It’s been an honour to connect with so many inspiring, passion and dedication people across our Canadian landscape and beyond. I won’t say my good byes yet as we have one more ‘Schools out’ issue to share!
