I got a Google Alert on my name the other day and it was because the Teacher’s Podcast folks linked to the 2009 iNACOL State of the Nation: K-12 Online Learning in Canada report for one of their podcasting episodes:
Episode #51 – 2009 Virtual Wrap-Up! Virtual Schools and Lifelong Learning
I haven’t had a time to listen to this one yet, other than the first two or three minutes. So I can’t speak to the content or the quality of that content.
I should also note that episode #28 was also on K-12 online learning. It was entitled, “Virtual Schools Update: Reach for the Stars” – although I have to be honest and say that when I first listened to this episode as I was driving around Colorado last Spring, I spent a lot of time shaking my head – its too bad the presenters couldn’t see me… 🙁
Apparently also posted under the “Virtual Schools” category were:
- Episode 30: Educational Change and Virtual Opportunity
- Episode 38: Webinar Powersurge PART 1 TwitterMania and Virtual Education
- Episode 44: Prime Time for Virtual Learning, Part 1
- Episode 45: Prime Time for Virtual Learning, Part 2
And I haven’t listened to any of these, so I have no sense as to how much of the content is about K-12 online learning/virtual schooling or if that content is any good.
